Broseley Walkers are Welcome
Self Guided Walks
We are intending to publish a Walking Guide to Broseley book. This will have a number of self guided walks in and around Broseley printed as a small A5 book. It will fit into a large jacket or trouser pocket and have detailed directions, so you won’t need a smart phone or gps, or even be able to read a map to find your way. It will have sketch maps, lots of photos, and notes on the history and wildlife and other interesting facts you can spot along your walks. As we want to attract walkers and visitors to Broseley it will have brief information about our facilities too.
We need some walkers to try out these walks and tell us if they work for you, and the most important thing, did you find your way OK? Here are some walks you can download to try out. Print them on A4 paper as landscape, on both sides of paper, fold your paper down the middle and you’ll have a handy leaflet to carry around with you.
These walks are draft pages from the new guidebook. All comments are welcome. As they are ‘compressed files’ the photos are less sharp than they will be in the book!
Folk and Gentry Walks
There are several walking routes in and around Broseley, including the Town Trail and the recent addition of the Folk and Gentry walks, a set of graded walks with rest places at intervals.
