Every Year Broseley Town Council asks members of the town to nominate residents who they feel have made a significant contribution to the town; putting others before themselves and making big efforts to build a nice community and environment for fellow residents.

There are so many people that put a lot of energy, time and effort into our wonderful town.

2021/22 - BROSELEY CITIZEN OF THE YEAR and YOUNG CITIZEN OF THE YEAR


Every Year Broseley Town Council asks members of the town to nominate residents who they feel have made a significant contribution to the town; putting others before themselves and making big efforts to build a nice community and environment for our residents.


The Town Council considered some fantastic nominees at a Town Council meeting held on Tuesday 9 November, Broseley has so many amazing people who are worthy of this award and It was quite a discussion and a difficult choice to make.


Citizen of the Year 2021was awarded to Gail Hallfor her continued hard work and fundraising efforts for local charities.


Young Citizen of the Year 2021 was awarded to Flora Swankiefor her long term volunteering and fundraising efforts for the community.


The Town Mayor and Councillors are very pleased to be able to recognise your contribution to the town, Well done Both!!


The Town Mayor invited Gail and Flora to an awards ceremony at the Birchmeadow Centre on 11 December 2021, where both winners were presented with an award and gift for their contributions to the town and community.
